Our Academics

Attendance

90% attendance will be compulsory in order to appear for the semester examination. If the student does not have 90% attendance he/she will not be eligible to get examination.

Aquisition Of Skills

Acquisition of skills in the respective trades is more important than obtaining graduation certificate.

Course Content

The Diploma Courses will have a minimum of three skill papers and three General skill papers. The total course content will be of 1800 hours. The total hours for the skill papers will be 810 hours, General skill papers will have 810 hours and Internship will have 180 hours.

Term Examination

The academic year will have two semesters. The semester will consist of 900 hours. There will be examination at the end of the first semester. The examination will consist of 20 Marks Internals and 80 marks of Practical. The mode of examination will be practical, oral and written.

Internship

All the students have to go for a mandatory internship of 30 days.

Character Formation

Character formation is an essential aspect of education. Person’s character includes behavior, values and attitudes.

Developing Skills

Community Colleges are the institutions meant to impart skills to the students. Skills could be classified as life skills or work skills.

Industry Partnership

Industry Partnership is the backbone of Skill College. Industries need manpower and Skill College is the source of manpower.

Placement

Placement is another core component of Skill College. All those who join Skill College have the intention of securing a good job.
